Combined piece: When Uranus is placed on top of Gaia, they form a single unified artwork. See also: Gaia (#3222)
[view source]Cultural Context
Uranus is the Greek primordial god of the sky — consort of Gaia (Earth) and father of the Titans. In Greek cosmogony, Uranus and Gaia are the original pairing from which everything descends — the Titans, Cyclopes, and eventually the Olympian gods. The Gaia and Uranus grails are designed as a combined piece — when Uranus is placed on top of Gaia, they form a single unified artwork, mirroring the cosmological relationship of sky over earth.
