[view source]Cultural Context
Leila Waddell (1880–1932) was an Australian violinist and occultist who became one of Aleister Crowley's most prominent associates, serving as his "Scarlet Woman." The Thoth Tarot was designed by Crowley with artist Lady Frieda Harris — the Lust card (XI) is the Thoth deck's equivalent of the traditional Strength card. The Sigil of Baphomet is the official insignia of the Church of Satan. The Temple of Set was founded in 1975 by Michael Aquino as a breakaway from the Church of Satan. Leviathan, Lilith, and Babalon are figures from various occult traditions.

Ancestors are a load-bearing trait in the Mibera system — each of the 10,000 Miberas inherits an ancestor as their cultural lineage. The ancestor grails represent each lineage as its own identity.
