Description	Robot statue with robotic ravens and Newgrange light patterns

Grail #4734 · Concept · Browse all Grails →

[view source]Cultural Context

This piece is a direct counterpart to the Past grail — the same composition reimagined as a robot. Huginn and Muninn appear here as mechanical versions, carrying the same symbolic role (thought and memory) forward in time. Newgrange's rock art patterns are translated into light patterns on the robot's surface — the same ancient symbols rendered in a future medium.

[view source]Justification

Past and Future are a paired set. Together they frame the temporal range of the collection — the ancestors and cultures the Miberas draw from span thousands of years.
